Introduction

P.T AIFA Nirmala Sistelindo is a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) company in Indonesia. PT. AIFA Nimala Sistelindo is a subsidiaries company of AIFA Telecommunication (M) Sdn. Bhd. and a telecommunication technology based company which mainly involves in designing, manufacturing and marketing of the Fixed Wireless Terminal (FWT) AIFA-Vehitel G63DFB, AIFA-Vehitel CDMA Wireless Phone (AF-G802HA) and AIFA-Vehitel GSM Wireless Phone (AF-G615HB).

The main project is to supply FWT to Indonesia market. The company has successfully secured the contract to supply 4-sim FWT to P.T Indosat Indonesia. The expected sales amount for this product is RM70 million.

The technology to build FWT is an enhancement of the existing activity in providing total solution for FWT system in Indonesia.

The strength of AIFA Fixed wireless terminal (FWT)

Geographical topology in Indonesia especially in the sub urban areas which limits the telecommunication operator from being able to install underground cable to provide telephone connectivity. FWT is the best solution.

A very good response of public phone namely "wartel" in Indonesia. This has increased a demand for "wartel" operator. Subsequently, FWT offers feature-rich equipment & technology which can cater not only multiple telephone lines but effective calls monitoring system plus automatic accounting faculties such as call charges calculation.

The strong signal transmission and reception are two cutting edge features offered by FWT.
 

A positive development in terms of awareness and versatility of wireless technology has shown strong market force coming forward. These have instilled confidence in everybody with regards to technology support and stability.

Wartel AIFA: Concept and Implementation

P.T AIFA Nirmala Sistelindo has set up an operation located in Batam. The company is enhancing the services to other locations in Indonesia especially in rural area. Besides, P.T AIFA Nirmala Sistelindo also proposed to INDOSAT for collaboration as an alternative and options for new "wartel" concept through franchise and franchisors system. Promotion for new AIFA brand and new concept of AIFA's wartel using VoIP and standardized design & theme for call cabin (KBU) through franchise and franchisors system.

Batam as a "Pilot Test" Project

Based on the pilot test project in Batam, P.T AIFA Nirmala Sistelindo has an established wartel located in PanBil (Shopping Complex) with 16 KBU's. the daily income average is Rp. 500,000 per day. It has a potential to increase the revenue between 10% and 20% per day. Forecast monthly income is between Rp. 20 Mil and Rp. 30 Mil per month. Target revenue has been increased between 20% and 30% in March 2005.
